I’m disgusted that they aren’t sharing the theory and evidence with the prosecution.

Why should the defense be compelled to do the prosecution's job for them? The prosecutor has the entire forensic resources of the MPD and FBI crime lab behind them. If the defense has found evidence of a second suspect on their own, then that shows a gross failure of the prosecution and investigators.

What does everyone think the most plausible theory to this case is? Employee tip them off to money at the house? Connection through go carting?

Can someone explain how this has 437 pages? I thought 20 page threads were huge on here

It’s creepy as hell to me that the other people who did this walk among us still.

people who commit terrible crimes and walk freely among us aren't as rare as you seem to think - sad fact.

If the defense knows the identity of the second actor do t they have an obligation to share their data? I’m against the death penalty but with animals like this guy I think I could make an exception.

The defendant would know for sure, but not sure how much his lawyers know.

What about the guy who taught his kid go kart driving and brought the cash to the house? The guy who ran off from the burning Porsche fit his description more than Wynt did.

And a fair amount of people here knew the family.

Yes. And/Or live in the neighborhood.

It terrified me for weeks. I couldn’t sleep.

I don’t underatand why the defense doesn’t have to share it’s discoveries with the prosecution. I thought that was how it worked. Any lawyers here care to clarify?

Even if the defense can prove there was someone else, isn’t Wynt still guilty of committing a felony that involved murder? Isn’t that just as bad as murder? I remember them saying his DNA was found inside the house.

Is this a capital case/eligible for the death penalty? If so, you would think Wynt would be making a deal and turning in his accomplice who has been free and clear while he's been in jail for the past 3 years.

I don’t think there is a death penalty in DC.

No wonder he isn't talking....he's going away for the rest of his life. Is there a podcast on this case?

I don’t think we should count this as a slam dunk just yet.
