The typos make it hard to understand parts of it--does it say that Joe Biden now owns the home? (Or the samurai sword?)

I think it was supposed to read - Near the home of Joe Biden....

This man does not deserve the death penalty. He deserves to live a life of torturw and suffering and pain every day of his life for the next 30-40 years. He should feel that same pin he inflicted on this little boy and his poor parents every single day over and over and over again.
My boys go to school where Philip attended. Every day when I pull into school to pick them up I envision this little innocent child running and playing in the days before this event.
I cannot stop crying.

As a person who is fortunate to never had any first-hand criminal court experience I find it amazing that it takes this long for every single step - is it a usual time frame or do the other criminal cases move faster?

For the Daily Mail poster - it is pretty much common knowledge by now that they don't do any actual reporting they just write whatever they want (and obviously don't even proofread their own garbage) so don't mistake them for a legitimate news source, please.

Also not sure if it was discussed before but I was under impression that in prison other inmates usually make sure that criminals who committed crimes against children get what's coming to them so I thought torture for Wint is a given, isn't it?

My heart breaks for this family. I think death penalty or life in prison, either way, doesn't matter. This guy's life is over and will suck.
I just pray that the deceased are in a better place (if there is one) and that the surviving family members can one day find peace.

Daron Wint doesn't look "right" to me in any of his pictures, as perhaps low cognitive ability and/or experiencing psychotic episodes?

I'm with you - this crime is probably the most horrific thing that can happen to anyone and that is why we all still care about it 9 months later... The poor girls and their grandparents... Hope they have a good supportive network to get through this...

I actually think it is good that DC does not have a death penalty - death penalties usually mean decades of appeals and millions of tax-payer dollars spent. Hope it is life in prison without parole AND with general prison population - let him suffer and die a painful death soon...

If DC had the death penalty, then the prosecutors would have the option of negotiating to spare his life in exchange for him giving up the others. At this point, they have very little leverage and Wint has no reason to give them up.

Agreed, and my wish is that he may he suffer endless torment. (though I know he won't in this life. his heart and soul are empty, bottomless pits of nothingness. Damn him to hell for what he did, especially to that sweet little boy)

There has been so little about this case. Does anyone know how he will plead, when the trial is, and whether this will be televised on something like court TV or whatever entity aired the oJ trial etc....
