Adults who have gone after this kid are beyond shame.

Oh, give me a break. The kid purposely confronted Phillips and tried to stare him down to mock and intimidate him. If anything that video shows that the kid was not "scared" or prevented from leaving because he easily walked away and left after he saw his chaperones (which is why he gave the "cut it out" sign to his friend).

Narrative, narrative, narrative. Expand your vocabulary, Trumper. It’s free, as is honesty - though that is impossible for you.

Oh, is that so? You can't just make things up that fit your narrative and state them as though they are facts.

You've got your response all jumbled up above my question, but hopefully you can answer it now instead of making another not-so-subtle dodge.

Where did you learn that the young man motioned to his friend to cut it out because he saw a chaperone coming?

Because the boys all leave after that. Watch your precious little video. At 1:00 a boy in a blue sweatshirt grabs the boy who's talking to the other Native American and they leave. Smirking boy left right before that after giving his friend the cut it out sign and points. He's pointing not at Phillips, but someone behind him and then you see the boys leaving.

That makes you sound kind of crazy.

The fact that he used the word "precious?" Are you the same people who are lambasting people for jumping to the wrong conclusion about MAGA Richie Rich? That's funny.

"Watch the video."

vs

"Watch your precious little video."

That has weirdo written all over it.

No, it doesn't, unless English isn't your first language and you don't get sarcasm. You're just trying to distract from the fact that you have no rebuttal to the correct interpretation of the video.

You want me to repeat it again? I've rebutted it more than once. Phillips said these white boys were "beasts" and they were coming at the black men who had been taunting them for over an hour like they were their "prey." LOL. Show me evidence of the boys yelling insults and derogatory names right back at the black men. There's tons of video, so if it's there, point to it. I find it impossible to believe that those grown black men felt like they were the prey of those lily white Kentucky Catholic school boys. You think they felt afraid of those "beasts?"

We're separating kids from their parents at the border. This one might make the shame list, but it's gonna be way down on the depth chart.

Have you seen these 2 videos? Now that I know the staring boy's last name, I realize that's what they're chanting at one point while he's standing there smirking.

So a misidentified kid and his family were harassed and received threats of physical violence on the night of their older son's wedding. People were out for blood and went so far as to find out the college he is going to and coercing them to rescind his offer.

In this one it there are a couple kids doing it around 0:25. I've seen a video from another angle showing other kids doing it too. And numerous reporters have remarked on it, too. Just google +Covington +tomahawk

for the kagillionth time, yes, he walked into the group of kids to separate them from the Black Hebrews they were fighting with.

Is there evidence that the boys were "fighting with" the Black Hebrews? As opposed to being harassed by them?

And why did Nathan Phillips get all up in one boy's face in particular if he was attempting to separate two groups? That's certainly unnecessary in order to make a barrier between two groups. It's awfully aggressive.

These little facts don't matter. Remember - MAGA hat wearer - BAD. Regardless of the evidence.

MAGA hat wearer=cult member

Anyone defending the hatemongering black Hebrews has a screw loose, so that is clearly you and others who decided immediately to blame the boys - who were standing well off to the side, minding their own business until Phillips came over to them. You just won't admit it because you know you're wrong. Very wrong. And you should be so ashamed of yourself. But I think shame is not something you're familiar with, because in your tiny mind, you're always right.

It would be helpful to you if you would read what I posted before taking the time to respond to it. It's this EXACT kneejerk, roll without the facts, kind of reaction that is at play here. Thank you for helping to prove this point. Now try to stop being a part of the problem.

I’m reading that many Covington Catholic families are preparing legal battles against the media outlets that defamed their children.

Good for them. This should have never happened.

Right. And it wouldn’t have happened if the boys had behaved themselves or been properly chaperoned.

It is a vile school for vile people. First wearing blackface while harassing opposing teams' players, then churning out a rapist student and sweeping it under the rug so he could still play basketball, and now this. It is a vile school.

Just leaving this right here so the very objective thinking people of DCUM can decide who really were and were not behaving themselves. Wonder why CNN seems to have missed these sound bites btw.

Don't take my word for it. Listen for yourselves. Remember the truth will set you free!!!

I read the kid's statement, I watched the CNN piece about it showing the earlier scene with the Hebrew Israelites shouting--a small group of men at some distance from the boys.

The statement is not credible. He says he smiled "at one point" and that he was praying and somehow keeping the peace or something. I just don't buy it. There is no motion in his face, just that smirk that does seem to become more pronounced over time. Behind him, the behavior of the boys is hideous. He could just turn around and tell them to chill. He could withdraw.

And if, in fact, he was sincerely praying and trying to bring peace to the situation, I think he would have been dismayed to learn how what he did was perceived by Mr. Phillips. There is absolutely no sense in his statement that he truly regrets how he made another person feel.

The statement by the school indicates that they saw what most of us did. And they know those boys.
