OK, he's guilty! Next!

And yet his response is like, "no i couldn't have done this I wasn't at this very specific party at this very specific place"

Comparable example

Larla: mommmmmmm, larlo took my cookie

Mom: which cookie did he take?

Larla: I dont knowwww

Mom: where did he take it from

Larla: I dont knowwww

Mom: Larlo did you take Larlas cookie?

Larlo: No I did take larlas oreos from her plate on the counter. Why would you think that? I would never do that stop asking me any more questions!

More like,
“I left some cookies somewhere in the kitchen, but I can’t find them. Did you eat them, Brett?”
“The dozen chocolate chip cookies that you left by the refrigerator that Dad accidentally covered up with his newspaper and you put the bread in front of this morning effectively hiding it? No. I didn’t eat those cookies. But don’t look into it. It was Garrett. From next door. He has brown hair like I do. He did it. The cookies are mean, lying cookies and I want a fair trial so I already called Grandma and she agrees I’m a good boy and I didn’t eat the dozen chocolate chip cookies that were under a newspaper and behind a loaf of bread.”

Stop it, you two

This is a serious matter. Now you've made me hungry.

Avenatti now says he has at least two clients with claims against Kavanaugh. One will be going public before the hearing.

It's the radical feminist effort to criminalize all straight male conduct. Women with husbands, fathers, sons, brothers etc. should be slamming this down, whether it's against Democrats like Al Franken or Republicans like Trump or Kavanaugh.

I have never waved my penis in a woman's face at a party, or seen anyone else do something like that. I did go to many heavy drinkfests in college.

Guilty? This isn't a criminal proceeding. It's a job interview. I have decided that there is probable cause to believe that Kavanaugh engaged in this pattern of behavior. That justifies a more thorough investigation than a one day hearing that doesn't involve Mark Ford testifying under oath or, in the alternative, kicking Kavanaugh to the curb and hiring someone else. If I was hiring someone for my company, I sure as hell wouldn't dismiss these allegations just because he denied it. That'd leave your company wide open to a negligent hiring claim when the sexual harassment claims started flying.

I'm not dismissing them. There's a hearing coming up. My point is that liberals are talking as if he's guilty already. There were just a slew of Dems on the news saying "I believe her." They've already decided he's guilty, and they haven't even heard her (or him) yet testify yet.

I suppose that's worse than McConnell saying that Kavanaugh will be confirmed, or Graham saying that nothing she says will change his mind. Or maybe equally as bad?

Yes, equally as bad.

I would like to state the obvious here -

What the heck was Georgetown Prep thinking by allowing the publication of misogynistic and racist drivel in the yearbook? Not only were girls' names dragged in the mud in very obvious ways, but apparently there were KKK references in there (not Brett).

I hope the administrators, teachers and parents at all these privileged Catholic Schools are paying close attention: CLEAN UP YOUR GAME.

After a major scandal in '84, they did. A little bit.

Could you elaborate? Trying to see if it's similar to the one we're discussing.

Ms. Dolphin was aware that members of Judge Kavanaugh’s clique were reciting that poem, according to a person familiar with her thinking. She told the football players that she found it offensive, believing it made her seem like a cheap date, and she asked them to stop."

What a bunch of entitled assholes. They're like every 80s James Spader character rolled into one.

If you felt sorry for her you should not have repeated that garbage here. I never would have read it otherwise.

Nope because "liberals" are the enemy. An endless drumbeat of right wing talk radio and Fox News has been demonizing "the libs" nonstop for 30 years. There's a demographic who truly believes that "liberals" are the greatest threat to America.

Meanwhile, boys and men and whoever else came out with 30 year old allegations of sexual misconduct against the Catholic Church and there’s uproar, but when a woman does it, it’s not true.

This is America, in my Childish Gambino voice.

Agree. While watching the Fox interview, we were noting that he hardly sounds like a lawyer. Not even a judge. He had a hard time coming up with basic words. Strange.

Not surprising, PP - the man probably hasn't slept well in days.
And rightly so.

True. He's a highly intelligent and articulate man. Part of the Democrats' strategy is to harass someone with unfair attacks to the point it interferes with his ability to function well. It's what bullies do.

OK, are you a Russian troll? Do they give you these talking points, or do you make them up.

Reading this thread is like reading a Russian textbook on how to deflect attacks from your opponent by changing the subject, rather than addressing the issue, and lying of course, lie lie lie.

Half the country thinks she is a slut now and you think she is worried about anonymous DCUM posters?

Because going to the media instead of the authorities is he best way to do this.

Another important point, don't know if it's been addressed.

Why do you think our friend Brett went into all this cringing detail about his virginity?

None of the accusers who have come forward have accused him of having sex with them.

The only reason he would talk about such a potentially humiliating topic (for him and his ilk) is that he KNOWS he will be accused of rape.

Could it be because he is guilty of this crime? Or does he fear that his enemies will try to pin his friends' crimes on him?

Whichever it is, I would not confirm such a person to the Supreme Court, who routinely drank himself into an aggressive persona, and who has associated for years with alleged rapists.

^ And that would also explain the GOP blitzkrieg that started today. Trying to garner support before worse comes out and puts the last nail in the coffin.

None of us thinks she’s a slut. We think Brett Kavanaugh is a braindamaged slut jock who gambles, perjures and rapes and has no business being anywhere near the court.

We live in a society where alcohol is the major factor in the teenage/young adult social scene. So you give teenage boys/young men alcohol and how do you expect them to act? What happened was not "sexual assault" it was drunken horseplay, and happened at every single party at the time.

The Boys Will Be Boys defense.

It's old. It's tired.

No. What Christine Ford described IS sexual assault.

Look it up.
