Official Brett Kavanaugh Thread

Avenatti just told Maddow there “very well may be a criminal complaint filed relating to” the conduct that his client alleged took place involving Brett Kavanaugh.

Whoa. Criminal. Bad news for a prospective SC Justice.

Because going to the media instead of the authorities is he best way to do this.

I'm anti-Kavanaugh and tend to believe Ford. I'm deeply skeptical of Avenatti. He is, above all, a self-promoter. On the other hand, he had the goods when it came to Stormy Daniels and proved that Trump was lying.

Yep. Because so far the media hasn’t been talking about the alleged gang rape. But if she goes on TV and she is credible, it is game over for Rapey Grabanugh. And possibly Grassley, Graham, and McConnell.

Yes, he’s a self promoter who understands that you can only promote when you really have something.

methinks it's time for federal prosecutors to look into Avenatti's dealings. this guy needs some armed thugs waking him up in the middle of the night

The sign of GOPers spinning into obsolescence: threatening violence.

Ms. Dolphin was aware that members of Judge Kavanaugh’s clique were reciting that poem, according to a person familiar with her thinking. She told the football players that she found it offensive, believing it made her seem like a cheap date, and she asked them to stop."

What a bunch of entitled assholes. They're like every 80s James Spader character rolled into one.

If you felt sorry for her you should not have repeated that garbage here. I never would have read it otherwise.

Half the country thinks she is a slut now and you think she is worried about anonymous DCUM posters?

None of us thinks she’s a slut. We think Brett Kavanaugh is a braindamaged slut jock who gambles, perjures and rapes and has no business being anywhere near the court.

and don't forget hard-up virgin who liked to abuse women.

That's what I think too. But there are people who think it's always the woman's fault and want Kavanaugh on the court so that he can make the women pay for being raped.

Unlike the Yale alumnae, the 65 people actually KNOW the man they are talking about.

Keep up, moron. Front page of the NYT, one of the 65 has her name plastered across the GP yearbook with the insinuation that she slept with many boys, including our friend Brett. SHE DID NOT KNOW THIS WHEN SHE SIGNED THE LETTER, and know feels completely betrayed.

ok so it's 64 to 0 instead of 65 to 0. Moron.

Actually they”re just down to 7 women of the original 65 who still support Brett. 7.

OPEN AN INVESTIGATION and then there would be proper authorities to report to.

He is going to get shredded on Thursday. There are enough high school and college classmates where evidence contradicts the picture he is trying to paint.

That's not actually true. Trump is an accomplished self-promoter, and he's devoid of substance.

Still, I hope Avenatti isn't full of hot air.

I’m not buying into his lie about being a virgin until last year, neither should you (sadly, your point about him liking to abuse women stands).

I would like to state the obvious here -

What the heck was Georgetown Prep thinking by allowing the publication of misogynistic and racist drivel in the yearbook? Not only were girls' names dragged in the mud in very obvious ways, but apparently there were KKK references in there (not Brett).

I hope the administrators, teachers and parents at all these privileged Catholic Schools are paying close attention: CLEAN UP YOUR GAME.

After a major scandal in '84, they did. A little bit.

Could you elaborate? Trying to see if it's similar to the one we're discussing.

Not PP, but Judge wrote that his human sexuality teacher went to prison for child pornography.

he is a self-promoter but he is also a damn good lawyer. I think after 2 years of terrible lawyering by Trump attorneys, people have forgotton what a good lawyer can do. Who would have ever listened to Stormy Daniels or would have ever thought she’d get so far in her legal case?

This guy practices law as a 4 dimensional chess game.

I really don’t understand Kavanaugh’s “I was a virgin defense.” Did he really come up with this himself or was it a talking point handed him by sexual assault cover-up master, Bill Shine? The whole interview was scripted, devoid of authenticity, and just strange. What was he thinking?
