Travel sports (baseball and football) killed my older sister's marriage. I’m sure you’re not the first one. Our older DS did travel baseball for a few years then he got burned out. He barely talks about baseball anymore but he’s found some other great hobbies that he loves. It’s too much, but there are lots of crazy parents out there that get obsessed with them.

My unpopular culture opinion is that no one wants to hear about your kids’ sports or your pets. And if you spend over $2k for any one treatment for your pet, you are a fool.

I adore drag queens and they are not fringe here in NYC.

I'm glad someone else said this. I have never understood the appeal of drag queens. Stupid and boring, and doesn't seem in the least bit risque or provocative. Hasn't our culture evolved beyond this?

I agree. I watched that video over and over, trying to determine who was in the wrong and it's pretty clear - the DAD! What he did was so incredibly obnoxious. Now, I won't deny that the woman looked pretty annoying too, but this situation wasn't her fault.

Okay, after hearing all the hubbub about this, I finally watched the video, and while I think the lady should have let it go, I thought the dad was kind of a douche to get up in her space like that. I feel bad for her.

I wonder if the roles had been reversed and she had got the ball and then the dad had got in her face demanding the ball, what would have been the reaction from the public? I think he would have been called a bully and an abuser.
