Most rappers are gay.

Agreed I saw a few episodes of the show maybe ten years ago and admired how the sisters and their mom had such open and effective communication with each other.

Rap isn’t music.

This was started by the weirdo being called out in the Taylor thread and they can’t handle it 🫠

Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, and most A list American actresses can’t really act. They are just pretty girls with good hair and charisma who got lucky with a big role that catapulted them to fame and the industry shoved them down our throat by putting them in everything.

The best actresses who can actually act instead of simply playing themselves are few and far between (and generally not nearly as famous).

I don’t think that’s an unpopular opinion. Who’s your favorite actress though?

Bruce Springsteen is perhaps the most overrated singer/songwriter in the last 100 years. His cult like following is both baffling and undeserved…and largely based on a mere handful of decent songs.

All of Adele’s songs sound the same…and they aren’t great.

Ariana Grande—while admittedly troubled and likely a diva—has an amazing voice and is a gifted comedic actress.

George Michael had the voice of an angel and was a tremendously gifted songwriter and performer. Elton John said so publicly on more than one occasion and he was correct. GM was unfairly labeled and never received the acclaim he deserved.

I don’t understand why people don’t seem to notice or care how p*rny “normal” tv is. Like if you are a relatively unknown actress, you must either agree to go topless or simulate sex (even in roles playing teenaged girls) in order to land a part on an HBO show, among other similar examples. It’s such a gross industry but people just seem not to see that part of it—just the celebrity and glitz and money, impacting attitudes, fashion, and culture “on the ground”. I know no man is an island and I can’t pretend to be immune to these trickle-down influences, but I wish I could find more people who feel the same way as I do who are neither super religious nor super crunchy because I don’t fit well into either of those groups. So much misogyny and other violence towards women just totally normalized, infiltrating our screens and frying our brains.

Dave Chappelle is usually spot on. In fact, a lot of comedians are…even those who have been canceled or criticized.

His father is a sex pest but Pedro seems cool.

MASH was a dumb show. So was Taxi.

Designing Women and the Golden Girls by contrast still hold up.

Both Scott's parents died suddenly and within a short time of each other, and Kris really folded him into the family and the kids followed suit. I am glad for him that he has the structure of the family, even though they're wackadoos with the plastic surgery.
