No. For what it’s worth, last years ID session on social media didn’t call out ECNL either. You can check. |
My prediction is Mclean goes, NVA stays. Mclean wants their independents because that's who they are. Like old money verses new money. |
NVA staff have mentioned that they are moving just no announcement as of yet. |
Fact: There are very few players who live in MClean on FVU teams. |
+1 |
NVA also took the ECNL emblem off all of their stuff, including the ID sessions registration site. Last year the ECNL symbol was everywhere…not any longer! Things that make you go 🤔 |
I think McLean and Loudon both tried to have their cake and eat it too. Now everyone will learn that the boys are more important and the girls will have to follow to GA. I don’t think that means the rest of the country is going this direction. But it does make you wonder if it’s happening here, it’s probably not too far behind in other smaller cities in the USA. |
NVA definitely going GA/MLSNext. Now it will be interesting to see who stays and who goes…players and coaches |
☝️should be announced this week officially |
Revolution seething that their money can’t buy them the MLS league spot and seeing that they’ll never be top boys destination in Loudoun. What carrot will they dangle now to parents? Interesting! |
Revolution to ECNL. |
Ohhhh stop |
Despite girls driving most of the discussion on this board, boys is the priority at these clubs because there are more players ($$). MLSNext is huge to any clubs that can get it and a little thing like losing a girls ECNL badge will not stop them |
Yup. It’s hard for ECNL girl dads to grasp that. MLS and USSF rule. |
Yeah especially when people see other clubs around the country making the same move, and then they'll realize NVA was ahead of the curve |
