Despite girls driving most of the discussion on this board, boys is the priority at these clubs because there are more players ($$). MLSNext is huge to any clubs that can get it and a little thing like losing a girls ECNL badge will not stop them

But MLSNext Tier 2? Cause that’s what McLean is looking at. Not Tier 1. Once again it’s all about the boys and who cares what happens to the boys. SMH.

But ECNL has nothing to blame but itself if everyone jumps ship to MLS Next / GA. They flew too close to the sun and got power hungry and greedy. Handed out too many ECNL badges in the DMV and then wondered why the talent decreased. And then forced mergers to try to make up for it.

Not everyone is going to jump ship. Only clubs that can get MLSN tier 1 which is still very selective

Agreed. Isn't Tier2 like ECNL RL?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but can a new club do well in mlsnext2 and then be promoted the next year?

Btw, NVA is getting MLSNext, McLean getting MLSNext2.

From the outside looking in, this area seems to be the guinea pigs.

This area is where ECNL has chosen to make clubs form alliances.

There was always a chance that this would happen.

Great question. VRSC is new to GA and not doing well so does it even matter?

There is plenty of room to grow for MLSN in this area. Only 4 clubs currently in DMV, same as Missouri. For comparison, there are 9 clubs in NY, 7 in NJ, 5 in PA.

Is that right? Maybe makes sense since Loudoun is an entire county and Mclean is like a small town or small very rich area or whatever it is. They should make them build some bathrooms at their fields.

See parents on this board still dont have a clue and spreading rumors. NVA is staying ECNL.

Doubtful that LS applied for MLSN. They enjoy the monopoly for ECNL in Loudoun county. They won't give that up.
