No, likely a Loudoun parent who just made FCV. Any FCV parent who's kid is on DA would have had their kid on ECNL and they would act like they've been there before and they would not really be concerned about another club.

Congrats on escaping CCL and the Loudoun cult though. Baby steps before you begin to act like a humble human as you now enter a world full of great players now.

Ow, you say that like its a bad thing. I've been to both FCV and Spirit 04 tryouts, and there was simply no comparison in terms of average talent level. There are some reasons for that, the Spirit VA team's circumstances and tryout formats are completely different. The comment about not seeing good players is somewhat fair, even if harsh .... due to this being their what, 6th or 7th ID session and unlike FCV, the accepted players don't return to an ID session once an offer is made.

Whats not fair is to assume because of this, that the Spirit team will be weak.

You are exactly right. I knew he was a Loudoun parent who's kid just made DA....which makes him a future FCV parent. So correction accepted.

Oh, and BTW. If you want to know how icebreaker went go look at the standings on the website. We are on here talking about variables...what ifs...scenarios..not completed tournaments that anyone with internet can look up.

There's a lot more to a tournament than results. Any psycho parents? Reffing atrocities? Teams that play with a nice style?
