When will the cold-shoulder trend die???

This is the trashiest look. I was really hoping it would die a quick death before my 12 yr. old decided she wanted to jump on the trend. Ugh.

I like it and just bought a bunch. I bought some friends teenage girls some when they visited last summer. They looked really cute in them.

I really didn't like it, but I do love the open shoulder Lilly Pulitzer Elsa top. That's a cute summery look. I think it looks really stupid when it's a sweater or otherwise-winter-appropriate shirt.

It's a very unflattering look. I have never looked at anyone of any age wearing those tops and thought it looked cute.

That said, agree with PP it looks slightly less bad with summer styles, it's ridiculous on a sweater. Kind of like peep-toe boots. If it's cold enough to wear boots, it's too cold for peep toes.

I recently saw someone wearing both a cold-shoulder sweater and peep-toe boots. It was every bit as ridiculous as you might expect.

And you do have final say over what you let a 12 year old wear.
