When will the cold-shoulder trend die???

I think the cold shoulder should be in the same category as bell bottoms.
As a side, I saw a woman wearing a "cold shoulder" where the hole in her top was over her upper arm. It was a riot, but this babe was working itt!

I think we are finally seeing the demise of the godawful mullet dresses.

I have nice shoulders - I work them out. This trend is not cute on anyone older than 24.

OMG, I hope you're right. Those dresses are horrific.

Hi-low dresses I think are cute on 13-21 year olds, they all look like something you shouldn't wear past when you might get invited to fraternity formals!

Does anyone have "cute" shoulders?

I have killer, cut shoulders (its about the only thing that is worth looking at on my body) but they don't look "cute" they didn't look cute in my youth either.

This trend reminds me of the wardrobe on Sons of Anarchy, where the women are supposed to look tacky!

The big neck/slouchy off the shoulder tops don't bother me as a trend though.

I hate it, too, OP.

I don't hate it, but not wearing them. I really hate crop tops but I honestly only see them on celebs, not IRL.

I'm so sick of the cold shoulder tops. Don't mind off shoulder in the least, but have never been able to stand cold shoulders. Especially on sweaters.

Like most trends, I hate it.

Here's what, though...why does it need to botherr/affect you? I personally only buy classic, timeless pieces. I don't feel any pressure to be a slave to trends. They come and go.

When people post TimeHop photos of me on FB from 10 years ago, I'm never cringing because of some silly, dated trend.

It's still with us for fall. Why I hate it is because it's unattractive and dated looking on me. It also ruins an otherwise pretty dress or top in many cases. Practically, it's just stupid to have your shoulders poke out of a cool weather outfit. I don't care of others like it or want to wear it – I'm just tired of it being so prevalent.

Well, it sucks up a lot of the retail space. I was looking for a dress for a casual wedding. Once I eliminated the cold shoulder dresses and the maxi dresses, there wasn't much left. There were also a lot of awful dresses that looked like someone just bought a shirt that was too big. No shape at all. I decided to just wear something I bought a couple of years ago.

They are all utterly ridiculous.

Very trashy and doesn't look good on anyone. I think it's the worst trend to come out in the last 10 years. I am shocked that people buy this for anyone at any age. Looks like a Real Housewife would wear it.

I thought it was just me -- I hate these tops! They are so ugly and unflattering, Even at work women are wearing these things! Older women, younger women, it looks awful on everyone! Make women look cheap -- not professional at all. I don't understand why this fad has lasted this long.

And you do have final say over what you let a 12 year old wear.

+1

And who pushed that models face in? ^^^

When? Not soon enough. When I see my peers (mid 40s) wearing it, it's time for it to die.

it's grown on my for short sleeve summer blouses. Still don't like it for longer sleeves and sweaters
