Oh, you must find a picture of this monstrosity.

Oh look! They sell it at Target.

IT IS SO UGLY. ladies, even if you're fit, this cut makes your shoulders look big and ugly. It is NOT a flattering cut for almost anyone, the droopiness of the cut makes you look hunched and slumpy. It is the absolute worst. I love a good sleeveless shirt but this mutation has got to go.

That said, agree with PP it looks slightly less bad with summer styles, it's ridiculous on a sweater. Kind of like peep-toe boots. If it's cold enough to wear boots, it's too cold for peep toes.

I recently saw someone wearing both a cold-shoulder sweater and peep-toe boots. It was every bit as ridiculous as you might expect.

yup not a fan of either look. It's not even an body type issue. i just looks bad and tacky on everyone.

This has to be the trashiest look we've seen in a long time. I guess if you are 16 years old maybe it looks less ridiculous. But on grown ass adults? It just looks so ri-damn-diculous.

I don't mind the look in shirts....but that suit jacket is just AWFUL. I couldn't imagine going into the office like that....

I don't care when- I just know never to buy it.

I think we are finally seeing the demise of the godawful mullet dresses.

I have nice shoulders - I work them out. This trend is not cute on anyone older than 24.

OMG, I hope you're right. Those dresses are horrific.

And if you try and find websites that actually reflect women that HATE this stupid, ugly trend, you can't find them. WHO decided this looks good? Especially the style where the sleeve is WAY down on the arm. WTF??? So how are you supposed to lift your arm? And the fact that some really older women on TV are sporting this style. OMG.

This is a totally made up, ridiculous way for the fashion industry to make money. And STUPID women are allowing them to do that.

It's like the clothing version of ombré hair coloring.

Wrote them off a while ago when I quickly determined that these (and off the shoulder) were totally unflattering to my shoulders. But it seems like in many stores, 50% of their tops and dresses are in this style. I just want a normal top, please! It's so overdone, it's tragic.

It's awful. Already passé.

i know a trend is over for adults when my 10 year old can find it at Justice.

It's so cute on teenagers, but grown women? You do not have "cute shoulders". Trust me.

I bought a few of them for a cruise we went on last spring but I can't seem to get myself to wear them back in the DMV.

Teenagers look good. Maybe if you have small dainty shoulders and are bug everywhere else. I can't believe the number of these shirts in stores. They are already crowding the racks at the TJ Maxx. I see the cut outs and step away. And, I'm usually fine with most trends.
