I'm really sorry he's not here to see these results but think he knows... |
Love, love, love this |
The actual reported votes are still in toss-up territory, but the final predictions are squarely in the Democrats' favor, because precincts still tallying votes are Democratic strongholds. This is why you see such a big difference between CNN numbers (current vote tallies) and the NYT needle (final predictions), for instance. |
I just switched to CNN. They are shockingly more pessimistic. I have been watching the NYT needle all night and feeling great but John King was acting like there aren’t enough votes out there for ossoff to catch up. I think/hope he’s wrong but it’s weird. |
Ok, I thought I was losing it. That's what I'm getting as well! |
I just don’t think there is enough votes left. We lost. |
Yeah, Millionaire Mitch just doesn't think the poor folks who've lost their jobs and are about to lose their homes deserve $2K to keep a roof over their heads. |
John King and Wolf Blitzer always sound like they’re at a funeral. |
NYT still gives ossoff 91% chance to win. |
93% now |
The votes in Savannah are still to be counted. They will be blue. Atlanta will be blue. There are enough votes for both Dems to win, but it will be close. |
Nate Cohn and others on Twitter are saying that 171k from DeKalb is correct, the 130k number CNN reported a few minutes ago is wrong. Apparently this was corroborated by the Secretary of State (though I didn’t independently verify this). |
And if the margin is less than .5%, there will be a recount. |
