DH would back up wife no matter what even if not literally true--he's justify it as think morally true. Everyone knows this. Friends are far less likely to do this. And what she needs most is friends she told contemporaneously, not like in 2018.

Her neighbor posted a metoo story on Facebook in 2017. Ford reached out privately to show support and referred to her own assault by two boys when she was in high school. No names but mentioned one was a federal judge who could end up on scotus one day.

THANK YOU! This has bothered me ever since he said it, but NO ONE has put any emphasis on it. For a Federal judge to make a hyperbolic statement (which is now so Trumpian) is truly disturbing. Judges are supposed to be considerate with their word choice and this is an unprovable statement since Kavanaugh wasn't alive in 1789, nor has he likely read up on them. It really made me doubt his credibility then.

Therapist notes said four boys attacked her. Ford says mistake in therapist notes--it was two boys and four was the number of people at the party. So a possible explanation is that the party was four boys and her with no other girls.
