Great, have the White House ask the FBI for investiage everyone involved and the actual incident. You won’t find a single democrat opposed to that.

Okay. Do a background check on her and interview Kavanaugh and Ford. Also, interview Judge.

She doesn't know who else was there--according to reports. She doesn't know where it was. She doesn't even know what year it was--whether she was a sophomore, or whatever.

She said she told no one.

Good luck with your investigation.

She sure did smear the guy with all of her confusion. I think she had a bad therapist.

She know the general area it was, she knows the time of year, she has identified others there. Her story has been consistent for more than a decade.

He has changed his story entirely today from yesterday. There’s your liar.

Who were her girlfriends there?

She told her husband. She's told current friends. She told her therapist. They don't count, apparently.

Where did it say she told current friends? DH thing not clear. She told therapist in 2012 but no name and conflicting key details (four vs. two). Somewhere she said she told DH, maybe even name but after 2012 as I recall. DH's word not valuable. Friends' word would be more so.

Her neighbor posted a metoo story on Facebook in 2017. Ford reached out privately to show support and referred to her own assault by two boys when she was in high school. No names but mentioned one was a federal judge who could end up on scotus one day.

No link given for this--we are waiting for confirmation he or some other official said this based on some PP's word.

Someone I follow on twitter embedded the clip. It was a CNN interview with Kate Bolduan.

To be fair, she's trying to have it both ways. She is saying BK still denies it. But she introduces this line of thinking too, that it might have been rough horseplay misunderstood.

The person said what she described sounded like "rough horse play" but Kavanaugh says he was never at a pool party where he drank so ....

What's a spokeperson/activist? Never heard of this particular title before.

Yesterday her lawyers stated that she would absolutely testify under oath. To this moment, they have not accepted the actual invitation for Monday, and last statement her lawyer made was they want an investigation.
Which is why Grassley intends to cancel the session if they do not hear back:

Valuable? What are you talking about? Some but not all women tell boyfriends, fiances, husbands about previous sexual assault. If you're saying it's not admissible in a court of law, well, we're not in a court of law.

DH would back up wife no matter what even if not literally true--he's justify it as think morally true. Everyone knows this. Friends are far less likely to do this. And what she needs most is friends she told contemporaneously, not like in 2018.

You are still acting like you want to cross examine her. Is she the one who is going to be the next Supreme Court justice? Don't you want to cross examine him?

This is key - they aren't saying this didn't happen.

Kavanaugh denied being at a party where this happened and now they are moving the goal posts. Any decent Senator will ask about the multiple flat out denials as compared to this. It is disqualifying.

Btw, spokesperson Carrie Severino on CNN pushing the “rough horseplay” argument.

Therapist notes said four boys attacked her. Ford says mistake in therapist notes--it was two boys and four was the number of people at the party. So a possible explanation is that the party was four boys and her with no other girls.

Does anyone know the format of the hearing? In addition to the accusations, I think Americans have a right to know about the references in his yearbook. I’d love to see his answer when he's asked to explain references to Hyman and Taint club, boofing, and blackout drinking. Judges should be wiser than this or st least have matured. If Republicans think asking the accused if she’d been drinking is acceptable, then certainly asking him about his sordid yearbook (that he wrote) is legit.

Sure it was in high school, but I want a Justice that has some maturity.

They have every right to assess the credibility of claimants. Very weird that you seem to think otherwise. Do you favor star chambers?

Hatch has already declared her to be "confused." Is he prepared to assess her credibility? Doesn't seem so.

1. She can't remember the approximate year.
2. She can't remember who else was there.
3. She can't remember where it was,
or even which neighborhood.
4. She can remember who's house it was.

Why is she so confused?
Was she drunk before she got there?

No one has responded to my previous question so I'll ask again. If she has been so vague with the time and place, how can he be so sure he wasn't there?

If I said to you, "I saw you at that party a year or two ago!"

And you immediately said, "I wasn't there! Wasn't me!" That would be weird, unless the last two years you didn't leave your house or knew without a doubt you never attended any parties.

You can't have it both ways. If she is vague, he can't know he wasn't there. He clearly went to plenty of parties with that cohort of kids during high school. He should never have said, I wasn't at that party.

Again: what is printed in the Washington Post article is not all that she remembers and is not all that she has told them. So *you* don’t know these answers; she may. And as has been said approximately 50 times on both threads: different people process trauma differently.

You missed my point, I"m agreeing with you. she is being vague, with good reason, I'm not disputing that. I'm saying, if she hasn't given the date/party, more specific details, it looks like Kavanaugh is jumping the gun by saying he was not at that party. How could he know? It makes him look guilty.
