Fire in upper NW?

1. For the average quick news viewer we probably can not distinguish between security camera footage and other footage, unless it is stated in the newscast of what we are looking at Sounds as if you have more in-depth knowledge of the case and the camera coverage to be able to confidently state the above. 2. So based on that premise what you said makes sense and is logical. 3. Agree with you that suspect in custody may have committed these crime alone b/c he alone has many solid links to the crime: DNA on 3 articles, money, employment etc, And yet found that news footage of the character running across the screen questionable especially since he looked like assistant and not Alfred Hitchcock. To be clear it is not a "frenzy to blame Wallace" but a curiosity of who the male was that looked like assistant b/c it was not explained by the news station. 4. The fact that assistant lied for whatever reason does cast doubt upon him. Some cases, it does turn out that a person who seems to have an iron clad alibi is discovered to be involved. It does happen, so that is the reason for some doubt. One only has to read/ listen to news to know that. Unfortunately for the assistant that is just the way it is. B/c we are not obviously privileged to know more in-depth info like perhaps you we look to the trial to hear the facts under oath as well as to the assistant and his name being cleared if they align with those facts. |

i havent viewed the video in question yet so dont have an opinion one way or the other. but if you see something truly concerning please contact someone. rememb er that confusing video last year from down town charlottesville that captured hannah graham? police kept saying that the second image in the video was.a "reflection" in the window
concerned citizens were convinced it was a person. they kept asking the police to take a second look. when they did... ta da. it WAS a person. so please speak up!! |

Surprised as well. Maybe they felt there already was sufficient evidence with the pizza and vest to warrant probable cause along with the money that was recovered. |

It does appear that concerned citizens help LE once they are enlisted to "see something, say something". All people play a part. To your point with the Charlottesville case the woman on the beach in Texas recognized suspect in the case by the picture LE provided and gave to MSM to distribute via their channels. It is looking like for this news clip though that it probably was a news clip shot by media or fire fighters. Just think it would have provided clarity to have that mentioned at the time, |

Agree. Would imagine the pawn shops receive from police info on stolen goods in the area and would be aware of stolen swords, etc. When this case first broke there was something in google under the family name about a controversy on swords and their use if I remember correctly. It did not make sense or seemed relevant at the time. The latest on the missing swords reminded me about that item found on google. Sorry, do not have the time to try to find it. If interested perhaps search those key words. |

Except there are No fire fighters on the scene..and who ever this is ..is near the back wall of the Church at the parking lot. Not running to the fire or on a phone..just running towards the banquet hall next door |

Fire helmet at 1:15 first thing when the burning car is shown. It looks to me like the camera is in the parking lot, not next door. News or responders camera. If there was a building camera pointed toward the car where is the footage of the car being parked and torched?? Think about it. |

Someone has to ask WUSA9 where the video came from..I asked and no reply..I'm sure a lot of information isn't being released to the media! Did you ask WUSA 9 via phone or email or email a reporter? Just curious of what they might respond to. Not sure what to make out of that statement you mentioned about JW. It could be a ploy such as a defensive strategy to imply there is something on JW, yet not sure how that would even help the suspect since there is so much physical evidence linking him. The transcript of the entire full questioning would help us understand better. |

Ok at 1:15 there is a object..but searching around I read the Porsche was parked in front of the home..till 10:30am?? Where was it after that? The fire was started at 1pm?? Reported burning 5PM? Also read on national news site that the witness saw a short haired male driving in a yellow vest..not green..that came from tweets from reporter WUSA9 ..and what happen to the Bentley that belonged to Savvas?? I think different computers give different visual acuity. I never saw a helmet or a fire truck just the guy rapidly moving across the screen and the burning car. |

Yes must be the player that is loaded on the system..notice there is no time/date stamp code on the video..if it was a camera on the dash of a fire truck..it would have a date/time and second/minute stamp..and that goes for security camera's..cell phone would take a image like this |
