Attracted to female friend

Anonymous
But am a straight woman. Fantasize about her too. Is this normal?
Anonymous
Yup. I'm totally straight but occasionally I'm attracted to another woman.

"attracted" in what way, OP?

Are you married ? Age ?
Anonymous
Not married, 33.
I just think she is gorgeous and has an amazing body. She is kind and great to be around as well.... Kind of embarrassed to admit this.
It's not just an admiration thing. I have imagined us 'together' too but won't be too explicit as wrong forum for that.

We're all on some kind of spectrum, OP.

It's normal. Mid 30s, and never, ever been attracted to a woman before, until I met a now friend of mine, a couple of years ago.

Brains and hormones and life and sexuality and attraction are weird and complex.

OP here. It is interesting to know it isn't just me. Was expecting some nasty responses but it has been supportive, so thank you.

I did some sexuality research during my PhD program. As another PP said, we're all on a continuum. This is normal.

We'd probably all do it if we weren't socialized not to.

Don't you mean women are fluid and men are binary ?

Obviously I won't act on it. She is married and would be horrified. But it is nice to know I am not alone and that it is normal.

No.

It's a continuum for both sexes but the stigma of men being attracted to men is so severe that it is suppressed. Very few men will admit this.
