No. If you think that tape was an admission of guilt, you have not ever heard bar stories. He was getting a rise and laughs from the other guys on the bus. They replayed the tape the other day and there were people laughing. The more they laughed the more he talked. Crass? Yes. Admission of rape? Hardly.

There are thousands of examples of him lying, saying crude things, openly admitting to crimes, openly performing crimes, contradicting himself, getting caught doing crimes, and engaging in the most blatant hypocrisies. These are not bugs, these are features. His supporters like that he can do these things and get away with them. Hypocrites indeed. Did you think we didn't notice?

What do you think happens when a blatant criminal hypocrite claims everyone is a criminal except himself? People just assume everyone is a criminal and vote for the criminal they like best.

So spare me the defense, unless you are prepared to answer for everything he's ever done, starting with the tax evasion his father did for him when he was 8 years. Might be hard though, because apparently those returns are still under audit.

+1 million.

I cared 4 years ago and it didn't make any difference. So I am not worried about it now.

If they cared about who raped who, they wouldn't have nominated or elected current president dumbass. It's laughable the conservatives are trying to make this a thing. It's a ploy to distract everyone from how many people are dying.

Once again, this isn't an issue of morality, the way some of you are trying to paint it. It's an issue of hypocrisy in the way accusations are received by the media and by Democrats, depending of the politics of the accuser and accused. HYPOCRISY.

Yes, much like the Republicans and the "liberal" media overlooked so many of Trump's immoral, illegal actions. Even when they did report it. they were always ready to chase some shiny new toy, some EMAILS even, so that Trump, the ultimate hypocrite, could just go on as if nothing happened. All to your thunderous applause.

You voted for a man who admitted to rape. You voted for a man who admitted to bribery. You voted for a man who said you would support him even if he committed murder. He announced proudly that he had done these things and you liked it because he was "honest."

He was right. You WILL support him no matter what he does. He has you wrapped around his finger, chasing whatever BS he tells you to. If you really think hypocrisy in politics is such a problem, then stop supporting the biggest hypocrite in the world.

I'm sorry - what? When did Trump ever admit to rape or bribery? As for the "committing murder," no one in their right minds took him seriously. It was a figure of speech, perhaps poorly chosen, but certainly not meant to be taken seriously. You really need to learn the difference.

Of course it was a figure of speech. But it was not "poorly chosen." None of his words are poorly chosen. I knew what he meant. So did you. I just didn't realize he was right. But such is the nature of accomplished con artists. Their marks don't realize they've been taken until long after the fact.

I'm speaking figuratively, of course.

It doesn't matter anymore.
One rapey old guy running against another.
They have to find something else to attack on either side, the rapes and attacks don't seem to phase republicans, so game over. We are not falling for it again. Especially when Trump voters all now have blood on their hands.

I mean, really - is this your go-to cliché? Can't you come up with a new one? Freshen up your hyperbole while you're at it. You guys are just so stale and tiresome, regurgitating the same silly talking points.

DP. Does the CDC have blood on its hands?

No one has "blood on their hands," you tiresome fool.

I was a different poster, weirdo.

Who cares? You both used the trite, idiotic expression. Thus you're both tiresome fools, as is anyone else who continues to use it.

Trump let February slip away.

Except it is one rapey old guy against just an old guy. Even Ms. Reade doesn't allege rape.

Of course she does. Nice try.

She does? Please provide a link.

Stop playing dumb and wasting space.

"The former aide, Tara Reade, who briefly worked as a staff assistant in Mr. Biden’s Senate office, told The New York Times that in 1993, Mr. Biden pinned her to a wall in a Senate building, reached under her clothing and penetrated her with his fingers. A friend said that Ms. Reade told her the details of the allegation at the time. Another friend and a brother of Ms. Reade’s said she told them over the years about a traumatic sexual incident involving Mr. Biden."

Indeed! It would seem to be the alleged penetration by fingers!

Assault is not rape. And there is no proof that there was assault. Given the number of times the story has changed, the amplification by Russian bots and the story behind why she left the office in the first place, there simply is no way to validate what is true and what isn't with this story. Zero.

The definition varies by state, but in DC, forcibly penetrating the vagina with fingers is considered a sexual act and therefore "sexual abuse." DC law doesn't actually use the term "rape."

“If it had turned out to have been true, was it rape? It depends.“

This is peak DC/Media/Lawyer speak

The truth is, we need a better Democratic Presidential nominee.

The man is old, has said inappropriate and impulsive things, been handsy with women, and now there’s this story. I believe Biden is not evil, and I believe Reade was harassed in some way: the two can coexist.

But I don’t want Biden as President. He’s not smart, he’s in decline, and he has a questionable history with women.

I want any one of the multiple younger and more competent Democratic candidates!!!!

How confusing. First you guys insist there is no one more stupid than Trump, and you mock every word out of his mouth and in his tweets. Now you’re saying his words are not “poorly chosen,” that apparently he chooses them with great care to send specific messages. So interesting. You can’t make up your mind about whether he’s a clueless clown or a highly precise, accomplished “con artist.” The amount of time and energy you spend, agonizing over this dichotomy must be truly exhausting.

You’re either a disgruntled Bernie Bro or a Con trying to divide the opposition. Either way, you need to go away.

Well, just to be clear, I differ greatly from most liberals in that I don't believe Trump is stupid at all. He is very smart, but ignorant. He is ignorant because he didn't apply his brain to any normal field of knowledge. Instead, he put his smarts into one single thing - how to BS people. He is the world's leading BS artist and he has the Presidency to prove it.

If he loses in November, it will not be because of anything Biden did. It will be because a few more people either figured out his BS or got tired of it.
