There are many such single mothers who need a second chance to get their life restarted. And that is certainly one type of situation that special programs like the Access Admission Program were designed to cover.

I'm not saying this as a Reade supporter, since I for one don't believe her allegations, but I certainly think that her history at that point was the type of story that special admissions programs would take into account.

The incident that he acknowledged and which left her physically harmed (bruised), was the one for which she was granted the restraining order for and why she fled with their daughter. And while he did not acknowledge the other violent incidents, his word is just as suspect as hers is. Physical abuse that leaves marks is rarely an isolated incident. Most of the incidents that are one time only, are not so serious as to cause that amount of physical damage (I did a lot of research when my sister was seriously hurt by my a$$hole ex-BIL). This is very unlikely to be a one-time only offense.

But why, if she was in a protection program, did she go on the radio and publish articles with her picture, while living so close to him?

Domestic abuse and stalking are two different things. Not all abusers stalk their exes. She may have been afraid he would stalk her, but if he never did, then she would stop being afraid. Alternatively, she exagerrated her fears of him stalking.

Reade is also trying to take down the MeToo movement. She is a Russian-trump asset paid money to murky up the waters surrounding Biden. This creates doubt in our minds. The thing is Trump did the same thing with Obama calling him a Kenyan then a terrorist and nothing was true. Then he said HRC was involved with “pizzagate” scandal that was false. It's highly possible Biden never met Reade. Somebody from his office at that time said people in Tara's position had an office down the hall from Biden's own office, separated by an entire different Senator's office. But, I suspect it's possible Biden had a hand-shake line-up ceremony of sorts for interns and lower-level staff, much like what happened when I was on the Hill.

It's laughable Cons dropped the Eva Murry allegation after only 2-3 days. That one was totally indefensible. Biden wasn't at the first even Murry claimed. So she claimed a second event--and turns out Biden wasn't at that one, either.

Don't know about money. But you're right, keeping this scandal front and center does keep it in peoples' minds.
