Rice doesn't "unmask" identities herself. No one in the WH "unmasks," they don’t have the information. The request comes to NSA, one of a dozen or so senior officials with the authority makes a decision about the justification for release, says yes/no and if yes, then it is "unmasked." What she’s describing in this interview is the rationale, which is legit.

I want all of the Susan Rice detractors and the people breathlessly calling for Obama to be tried and all of the senior Obama officials to be locked up to understand EXACTLY what happened and why.

They all owe Rice, Obama, Biden and others a huge apology.
