Reigning in police misconduct is huge. No matter the race of the victim, it should not be allowed and has no place in a civil society. Are we really placing the burden of good conduct on the criminally accused rather than officers who are sworn to uphold the law? Really? |
| If I had been that police officer I would have shot every person there who didn't get down on the ground the way I told them to. People, all people need to respect cops. If I don't follow an officers orders I would only assume I would be killed. |
You haven't noticed all the localities that have to deal with poor policing? |
Glad you're not a cop! You're just an idiot. |
Extreme, yet to the point. |
Well if it makes you feel any better the girl in the video has been receiving death threats. |
This is a pretty remarkable response and a classic of victim blaming. Just a couple of posts before, you were complaining about uninvited black kids showing up at a pool, getting beat up by the police, and then acting like they had won a gold medals. Now, you think that an uninvited black kid should have just shown up at a swimming pool. If that wasn't enough, you have no words of criticism for the family that disinvited their friend because of her skin color, but you actually accuse the victim's mother of bias. I didn't see the AA mother making any assumptions about McLean residents. Rather, she actually wrote that she didn't know if the other mother is racist. If the residents of McLean are not racist (and I don't know any who are), I'd expect them to be the most outraged that someone was excluded on the basis of race. |
A hothead like you has no business in law enforcement. |
How is this not a national issue when it's happening across the U.S.? What's important is not up to you to decide. Obviously the public feels it's important. |
And the police are having to deal with teens and young adults who have no concept of obeying the law. And, this problem is becoming worse. This video demonstrates that. |
Where? On Twitter? That pales in comparison to the NBP and Sharpton on your ass. |
So restrain them properly and write them up for interfering with the work of a peace officer. Don't pull hair. Don't draw your weapon. This is not rocket science. |
You don't give credence to the emotional responses of early teen girls. She wasn't uninvited. The AA mom decided not to go. The other girl's mother simply expressed concern. I can understand the concern of both parents. But you don't give into fear like that. |
You know this happens for sure? Can you show me proof? |
The scary part is that these teens are not street thugs, they appreat tot be well educated middle class kids-still no regard for the law! |
