But why is this video happening 4 days later? If it was kidnapping for ransom, wouldn't they demand the money immediately....and wouldn't they engage immediately? This video makes it sound like they didn't believe it was ransom kidnapping until today...

TMZ received a random note,

Local media received ransom notes on Sunday but didn’t report it, likely at police request. TMZ got one and did what they did, investigation be damned.

He got word Sunday afternoon. He is on location on Wednesday. He arrived in town in a reasonable time.

According to other posters that not plausible because he has a rich famous sister.

What? What does Savannah's net worth have to do with her sister's financial status?

I'm thinking someone contacted them with the mother speaking. This may be why the police suspect she is alive. The problem is you don't know if it's AI. My uncle was a victim of an AI scammer who used the voice of his granddaughter that they got the public video of the funeral of his wife. The grand-daughter spoke at the funeral and it was just enough for criminals to be able to do AI manipulation with her voice. You can do AI videos of people too. I strongly suspect someone sent them what seemed like proof of life and that is why it's going in this direction.

I think they may even know who it is and it's not the BIL. This is just my crazy thinking. I think the BIL is willingly being used as a diversion, so the real person doesn't think they are onto him/her. Look at all the Karens who were like yeah...with that long beard and thick eyebrows, I knew it was him! If you are carefully tracking a suspect and trying to get a hostage out alive, you don't tell the public that because the person may do something rash. I suspect this is either someone who knows someone who works for them regularly or a contractor who figured out her connection to someone rich and famous.

Your post makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing!

Agree. Especially something silly like a car. I’m sure Savannah would assist in an emergency or difficult circumstances (and may treat them to some fun family vacations and that sort of thing) but siblings don’t typically purchase homes and vehicles for each other IME. We have some income differences on both sides of the family - and no one does this with siblings (or would even consider doing so, or asking a sibling to assist in such a way). Picking up the tab at dinner or paying for the air BnB for a group trip, being generous with niece and nephew gifts, helping out in a genuine crisis- sure. But definitely not day to day financial obligations.

Look at the sisters body language and speech pattern though, and all the weird blinking. I came away from the video thinking she knows more than she’s telling. I hope I’m wrong.

So much absurd speculation on this thread. Good grief.

The sister sounded really off in the video - not genuine. But Savannah came off as genuine.

Everyone handles trauma and shock differently.

+1 it’s gross. Unhinged speculation. Absolute drivel.

Search warrant is required to search the victim's home. Question is why did it took so long to get one.

Does the house have a fence around it?

Even though the exterior camera was taken, any video should be available over wifi. Would need a warrant to search that, too.

This story is very heart wrenching, I cannot even begin to imagine all the angst that Savannah, her sister & her brother are all going through right now.
I saw Savannah’s video statement today + my heart goes out to her. 💔💔💔

It seems this is also a race against time ~ considering that her mother had her pacemaker ripped away.
Also she needs to take daily medication which she cannot go w/out……

I hope and sincerely pray that the mother is found soon - safe and alive.
It would have to be soon however as the more time goes by - the less of a chance that this is a possibility.

I read that Donald Trump said he would do all he could to help out.
He usually says mean/stupid stuff when bad things happen to other celebrities (Rob Reiner?!) but he is being surprisingly empathetic to Savannah’s plight.

What I find perplexing is the ransom notes that were sent out.
They really make zero sense.
Why would someone ask TMZ for a Bitcoin payment??
And by disclosing that they received a ransom note, do you think Savannah’s mother will be in greater danger?

If she just wandered away they aren’t roping her home off as a crime scene, nor are they searching her daughter and son in law’s home, not to mention the ransom notes.

The ransom notes could have been sent by anyone. This has been getting huge coverage.
