Doubt it. His profile was very specific and everything else seems to be true. It’s possible he enrolled but hadn’t started yet, or in starting spring semester of something. But Brown should have record of him being offered acceptance- at least. I don’t believe he completely made up it up and there is zero ties |
| So the veteran/student in the news was NOT the shooter? |
Correct |
| One of the victims was head of the Brown Republican Group... hmmm |
Thanks, I'm an alum and can't wrap my head around this. I am so sad this has happened to my alma mater. Why is this thread in the Politics forum? |
I think it’s a wild coincidence. This is an Ivy, most of the people in that room were probably liberals who were also shot. |
Earlier in the thread, someone else was strongly pushing the antisemitic angle on this shooting. I think we should’ve all learned by now not to get ahead of ourselves in making assumptions about the shooter. |
You were saying? |
definitive?? |
It's obvious why after you read some of the comments. |
There were two. Two. One was a devout Christian Republican sophomore student. |
| How did they get this particular POI in the first place?? |
The shooting happened in Rachel M. Friedberg's classroom. She is a Teaching Professor in Economics and a faculty associate in the Program in Judaic Studies. She was a professor in Israel for four years |
| It’s possible that there is no deep political motive, some people are just mad at the world. |
But she was not the one leading this study session. It was reported it was her Teaching Assistant (TA). |
