I thought everyone at these schools were radical liberals? You mean that isn't true? |
Omfg. America has a lot to educate. |
I’ve lost track of which incident it was, but I’m pretty sure there was at least one situation where some student who didn’t want to take finals called in bomb threats. Shooting up a study session seems like more than just not wanting to take finals. There would be a lot of other opportunities around campus to target other specific groups - women, queer spaces. Even the unfortunate deceased girl who was involved with Republican politics seemed to have only been there incidentally, unless he had focused on her in some specific way. She was a very pretty young woman. The other student’s name was apparently Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov Laura Loomer is a very evil human being |
Phone records |
Because so many shootings like this turn out to be politically motivated. And even if they turn out not to be, you have nut jobs on the internet screaming things like that even before anything is known, because they have an audience for their platforms and know that bells often can’t be unrung and that people will run with political narratives anyway. And now you have the FBI involved and the President making statements and always questions about gun control in general. Unless it’s a matter of campus security, something like this gets elevated to political discussion anyway because agendas immediately try to make it political so they can squawk about whatever they think will whip people into a frenzy |
| ^ so the POI knew or knows who did it? Did they say how those records led to him? |
This. As someone who has schizophrenia and bipolar in my family I agree with the above poster. |
Where are you getting that the POI knows who did it? It seems instead he is a Brown student who had nothing to do with the shooting and who was caught up in this nightmare. No one should bring him up anymore- his life is going to be hard enough after having his name, face, and address splashed across the world as a killer. |
He is not a Brown student. |
It started in the Colleges forum but devolved into a gun control debate so it got moved here. |
He said he is, and so did his friend who was interviewed. Brown says they have no record of him. So who knows? But in any case he is no longer a POI and deserves to be left alone. |
If Brown has no record of him, then why would you believe the person? And the friend was going on what the person told him. |
Brown also said if he recently enrolled is “possible” they don’t have record. Which I don’t get but whatever. I believe he is a student or is enrolled |
They think they know who did it. They drove to Brown from Madison, Wisconsin. |
You seem very invested in this theory and have posted it several times. Of course anything is possible, but isn't it more likely that a shooter with an anti-semitic motivation would target more than one Jewish potential victim by seeking them out when they congregate as a group? For example, he could have visited the weekly Brown Hillel Friday night Shabbat meals and services or holiday celebrations. The Jewish prof wasn't even in the room and the students who were there were presumably not all Jewish. |
