Thats impressive that the academy games at Philly and NY are at better facilities than Segra Stadium 🏟 where Loudon United plays USL home games.

Key word, Loudoun United field. Or VA Revolution field. If they can't get those, Soccer Plex. The first 2 stadiums are pretty nice though. But it's not DC Uniteds field.

How does the name on the field make a difference?

No one said anything about where they play their home games. Name on the field doesn't matter. You're missing the point. We are talking.about the FACILITIES overall. When the kids walk into say, Atlanta United campus, they know they are in a class facility. It's obvious. Same with red bulls, union Montreal, Toronto, (insert any other academy besides DCU here) It's like walking into a Ritz Carlton coming from a Red Rood Inn. Or even worse coming from having nothing. DCU doesn't have a facility at all so it's not a hard conclusion to draw. Playing games at a USL field is pretty cool actually but it doesn't overcome the fact that DCU has no facility for the players. That by itself is a travesty. Google MLS academy facilities or watch videos on YouTube. The difference in what DCU has and others is MASSIVE. FC Cincinnati is even ahead and they are a new club.

All these suburban soccer dads with the brooks brothers and golfdom matching outfits talking about how pretty facilities need to be to produce top level professionals

In real football world, the professional leagues in south america and europe have many top tier players who trained and played all or most their lives at below average non-frills fields and facilities.

1. Number of players signed to Professional Ranks (premier divisions)
2. Revenue generated by sale of players to Professional Clubs

They could be training on pristine hybrid turf or concrete. Doesn't matter.

Got some questions since it seems like a few people are in the know.

Where do DCU kids hold their IDP or classroom setting trainings? Game reviews, scouting, etc?

Where do they go for rehab if they don't have a facility?

Do they have access to all the medical professionals the 1st team has? Doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, sports therapists, psychologists, etc?

DCU IS NOT A GOOD ACADEMY. PLAIN AND SIMPLE

Bunch a rec player fathers giving their uneducated soccer opinions using all caps makes no difference.

This won't make you feel better about your kid not being good enough. But keep trying.

No MLS Academy is churning out professional players to top tier clubs.

So whether your kid is at an academy subjectively ranked bottom, middle or top in MLS... the outcome after U18 is pretty much the same.
