All the MLS academies are in the same category with your chances of making it. Low percentage

Numbers don't lie

If your kid is really at a high level, you would know the answer is Europe

At U15, is it easier to get to Europe from DCUA or a P2P club?

This must be the part where the F students are given the opportunity to ask questions

Getting to Europe is all about your citizenship, residency status.
Being desired by a European professional academy has to do with your individual skills U7 to U18

If you're at a MLS Academy, the European academy already knows you've been vetted and filtered against peers.

πŸ‘ with that belief system, DCUA is right for you. Thank you for quoting the MLS sales and marketing team lines πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£.

Just know, deep down, you are Failing your kid if they have high-aspirations to getting them in the best environment for them to develop simply because you have Failed to learn all of the available options with your arrogance.

This is a situation where this is an open book test and a student still can’t see because he has no vision.

DCUA is perfect for you! Carry on. No need for further discussion.

What are the beliefs listed?
Looks like facts, that's why you attacked the messenger instead

As a matter a fact, the status level separation between the MLS Academies and P2P Grassroots has gotten even wider since the Academies only play up against them, play them less and play other academies more.

If my kid was good enough and got selected by dcua over the hundreds of good players trying to get in, your rhetoric wouldn't deter me, like it doesn't deter anyone else.

The conversation admittedly veered to this. There should be a wide "separation between the MLS Academies and P2P Grassroots." DCUA is a professional academy. The players are handpicked and [sort of] get training for free. The fact that it's even a question as to whether a top player should choose to go to a local club or a professional academy is embarrassing. Or should be. The prior pages and pages of this thread were comparing DCU to other professional academies. The fact is, it does not compare well.

like has been said many times on this thread...knowledgeable parents who have kids at DCU know it is not a great option but they don't have other options available. The parents that genuinely believe DCU is a good academy are the reason why US Soccer is a complete joke. They don't know any better and just want to follow the masses. DCU has a role in youth soccer in our area. Unfortunately, it is neglecting this role in massive ways and the kids in our area are losing as a result.

No one cares about if DCU reads this or does something. Parents are the target audience not DCU.

P2P. No fees are owed. This has been covered already. MLS wants fees for players and that is a deterrent at these ages.

So what if dc isn't the best MLS academy (based on whatever is the criteria of the day and people polled)

Seriously.
So What?

There are about 29 academies in the entire country and you're saying people shouldn't go to dc because its not the 'best'?
Make that logical

All the other academies are the best?

Do parents not go to academies in South America and Europe because some guy on IG or a forum say they're not the best?

Can everyone get into the best academy?

Does the so-called best MLS academies in America produce a high percentage of professionals?
NO, they don't

You have less than 1% chance of a substantial professional soccer career going to any academy in America

It ain't much better in Europe either, or else we wouldn't be flooded with European Academy ex-players in US College Soccer

Someone specifically asked a P2P to DCU comparison direct question.
Society and the soccer world aren't comparing. Just you are for your narrative.

Not a single parent with a kid good enough is not choosing dcu just because you have a stick up your rear for them
