I know for certain that where my kid went to school helped him get into his first choice school. The other option was public school, and the chances of him getting into where is is now at college would have been very slim. We don't have legacy or any other hooks. The school and his experiences there that he could point to are what made the difference. Also this particular sends a lot of kids to his university, which was also a consideration for us. Glad Jeff is allowing this thread to continue to exist and I still think it should be pinned. |
