The migrant issue is a hard one for me. I start with the premise that orange man is bad so we should treat migrants in the opposite way he did. But that does not seem to be working. Does not make any sense.

I do think the current crisis does really come back to that basic premise. And the results are just very hard to acknowledge for some.

The current crisis is due to the desire on the part of Biden and his hand-picked cabinet, czars, and assistants to flood the country with uneducated, low-skilled migrants to depress wages and bring in a Democratic-voting group.
What they DIDN'T plan on is that people from all over the world would take advantage of our open borders, travel to Mexico, and join the migrants south of our border.
As a result, we have a record number of terrorists trying to enter our country, a record amount of fentanyl coming in, and emboldened and empowered cartels that are actually in control of our border and making billions a year on human trafficking.

Having them housed and not on the street is beneficial to the citizens.
Knowing where they are makes it easier for the court to process ( and likely deport) them
