Have you been to a busy travel game pitch? Parents are usually shoulder-to-shoulder along the sidelines (or chair-to-chair).

It is not hard to overhear a comment said by a parent just a few feet away. Heck, I've had the "pleasure" of sitting through entire multi-hour conference calls that other parents were on during games. Or my favorite was the mother & daughter doing video therapy while at a tournament.
