My mattress was causing me back and hip pain for 3 months!

I try to sleep on the high spots that haven't been used as much. I have been trying to talk DH into getting a new mattress for several years. No luck. He was raised by parents who believed mattresses last a lifetime. It rubbed off on him. Our current mattress is so uncomfortable.

Do you really need his permission? This about your health. Buy a mattress and ask for forgiveness.

I’m double-jointed, and the only thing that worked for me was a neck brace.

I guess some of you should know this.

I am in the market for a new mattress for many of the same reasons. Does anyone have suggestions for one that doesn't get hot?

We have a 6 year old Saatva. It was fantastic the first 2-3years, and between 3-4years developed hills and valleys. So disappointing. It isn’t really visible because the pillow top fabric “puffs up” ish. But if you run your hand over it lightly it is very obvious. I’ve been planning to stick it out till 10years but with both of my spouse and I having random back issues Im now wondering if we should aim for 8years or so. Of course then the question becomes what to replace it with!

We did get Purple brand pillows last year, mine failed twice (received a replacement under warranty, replacement collapsed shape in just 30ish days too) but DH loves his.

Hands down Coccoon by Sealy is the best mattress I have ever slept on in 50 years. DH did a ton of research and its great.

We have Tuft and Needle for both our kids and are now thinking of getting one for ourselves. Love T&N.

Now THAT is a DC way to measure time! 😆
