Yeah Queen Elizabeth had an awful marriage with a cheater. Not.
Every marriage is different. Every cheater is not the same, nor stays a cheater. Kate, Beyoncé, Hillary, Jackie.... It’s hard to say these men didn’t all worship their wives. It’s pretty well-documented. I think it’s easy to judge. Look at the two women that have stated their marriages were very happy, rocked by an affair, and spouse took great pains to change. They are ridiculed. Seeing the trauma played out which happens in many stages over a long time is misunderstood. Betrayal dies a severe number on people. It’s like temporary insanity —only not temporary as it can last a year or more. Not all cheaters want to stay in the marriage, do the hard work and change. Therapists can tell over time which are genuine. Good for these women and their families, and even their husbands if they overcome this and continue on for another 25 years. In many ways, they sound like they were in very happy unions prior and can grow stronger from this. |

10 months of 2 a days isn’t guilt sex. Nobody could get it up that much. Plus, she said they always had sex at least 3-4 times per week throughout the marriage, and during affair as well. As someone in a low sex marriage, I’d take anything. |

If you have a high earner, remorseful spouse that will do anything not to lose you, it’s a pretty good situation to be in. Complete power switch.
About that other thread with famous couples and infidelity, all of those men were charismatic, intelligent and bad boyish. Prince Philip was hilarious and it had to be a lot of fun to be in a marriage with that kind of alpha. There is a reason women go after these kind of men. I’d take fiery passion and highs and a few lows over resentment, no sex and boredom any day if the week. It keeps you on your toes  and can be quite fun.
