If I had to 'Stan' the members, I would say the following:
Jin and V Suga and J Hope Jimin and J Hope V and Jungkook RM and Jin Suga and Jimin |
Do you mean Ship? |
Yes, ship. |
So funny. He is unique and a heartbreaker for sure. |
Jin and Suga are like an old couple. Ying to the yang. |
+1 I heart Jimin. ** Libras unite**

NP and I've only been watching them for a short time but this analysis is interesting. I disagree about RM though- I think he is the most straight of them all! Also I agree with a PP that it's quite remarkable how all of them come across as really innocent (don't know if that's the correct term, more like naive? not age-appropriately jaded?lol) but I wonder if their acts are curated on all of their videos as well. |
No, they are not innocent by any means. A couple of them are pushing 30. There are blind items about them doing cocaine, having threesomes, etc. Not to judge them or anything, but I think there is a carefully crafted image of these 7 friends (notice there are never any girlfriends) who perfectly attract the tween/teen audience they want. |
| I can't seem to tell why we're speculating about these boys' private lives -- much less assuming their sexual orientations. Have some respect |
Again, can't seem to understand why we're assuming their sexual orientations. And what do solo careers have to do with this? I'm confused. |
I'm convinced you didn't even read the post, read the last section at least |
This is an understandable question (albeit disrespectful); that's the beauty standard in Korea and has been for sometime. It's been making its way westward. |
Curious as to why you would have to speculate entertainers' personal lives |
Because they put it out there. There are hundreds, if not thousands of video released by their management all about their personal lives. This is how they became so famous. They were basically a reality tv show broadcast from YouTube. Their videos became extremely well-watched and their music took off from that. So yes, absolutely fair game to speculate on their lives. If they don't like it, they should take it up with their management company, and ask not to be filmed 24/7. |
Now that would actually surprise me. Illegal drug use is a third rail of K-pop. That and goofing off during your military service (for male idols) are the big career killers. It’s hard to come back from a drug scandal because the public loses trust and respect for you, and the Korean public is bug f*** insane, like 1000x worse than the American public when it comes to celebs. And the media uses celeb controversies and scandals to deflect from actual important government scandals. |
