Actually he only coaches good teams. So next season he's going to drop 2004 team and take 2007. McLean is only good in the odd years. 2007, 2005, 2003/2002. Brent will take 2006 and 2004 and Clyde will keep 2009 and 2008. That's what my sources say |
| I thought Clyde was retiring so that Arlington could get ECNL... |
None of this matters. The best team in this age group is FCV. They will rejoin ECNL and pull starters from McLean and Loudoun. Not even a debate... |
Perhaps, but it isn't entirely meaningless. There are still far more players who never even sniff a training center than do. |

“None of this matters. The best team in this age group is FCV. They will rejoin ECNL and pull starters from McLean and Loudoun. Not even a debate...” ha,ha,ha yeah |
About to find out. |
You mean a practice session hand picked by your personal trainer with connections? Yeah, most won’t sniff it because most don’t pay trainers. Or are friends of the family of those making the picks |
Yeah, I can see a bunch of committed seniors transferring next year for a composite team. |
And lets just call it out officially - Diane Drake said to use Avatus Stone (from Explosive performance in McLean/Tysons) as a trainer. Training with him will get you a call up to National Training Center. I know 4 girls (FCV and McLean) that have done this. It was very soon after starting with Avatus too - they were called up. It's completely a connection thing. Now the issue is - the word is out - everyone tries to get to Avatus, the training cost has increased. |
I know plenty of girls who trained with Avatus who never got called up. Being close with Diane back in the day used to help, not sure it still does. |
Back in the day? When exactly is back In the day. Lol |
Right...and I have some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you. |
| This thread is a hilarious exhibition of how messed up this landscape is. |
Lol, good one! But highly doubtful that they've even considered next year at this point. |
None of that changes the fact. It matters. |
