I think the county liquor stores are closed Sundays.

We just go to DC. The DC stores like Paul’s and Rodmans are just as close to us as MD options. We also have a house in MA, and very few grocery stores have wine/beer. Usually it’s a town based decision and they tend to give them to small groceries, not stop and shop. But then I went to a Target in Boston that had hard liquor on the shelves (but no wine).

Many of the MoCo county liquor stores were open on Sundays but not during COVID.

I think PA has the most ridiculous beer/wine/liquor rules in the country, bar none, but but one can complain about both.

On the topic of crummy rules, OH sells liquor in grocery stores BUT it's watered down. Only liquor stores can sell "full proof" liquor.
