Only if your point of view is to the right of William F. Buckley. He's a mainstream Democratic Party/Obama administration guy, and if you consider him unacceptably far to the left, then you don't vote for many Democrats, or possibly any Democrats at all. |
LOL! Im a moderate dem. In no world is Jealous (or Perez) a moderate, or mainstream dem. |
No one said Jealous was moderate or mainstream but Perez is. I still don’t think he beats Franchot in a primary, though. |
Who do you consider to be mainstream Dems? |
I'm honestly baffled. Perez served two four-year terms in the Obama administration (as assistant attorney general for civil rights in DOJ, and as secretary of labor, respectively), followed by one four-year term as chairman of the Democratic National Committee. If that's not mainstream Democratic, nothing is. |

Well, ok, if your point of view is Mark Levin, then all Democrats are radical left socialist communist flag-hating baby-eating bomb-throwing puppy-haters, by definition. And born in Kenya, to boot.
But fortunately most people in the US are not Mark Levin, and especially not most people in Maryland. |

That’s too imprecise a question to really answer. I would consider voting for a Republican for any office, including governor. That would probably take a Republican candidate who was socially liberal in some crucial respects, and known in the community as being an all around decent human being. Their candidacy would have to coincide with an uninspiring Democrat running. I would never vote for anyone who supported Trump.
I would vote for Connie Morella in a heartbeat. |

| Maryland Republicans are much different then most. What the other Republicans lack in most of the country is an education, you have educated Republicans here, big difference. |
I ♥️ this so much. |
