I thought the divorce was her trying to help her case that she didn’t know and had nothing to do with it. Not sure that’s correct—but divorcing would be wise.

I saw where he asked not to her pay spousal support or attorneys' fees in the divorce.

In one of the first episodes they showed flaws in her house. It needed updated and regular maintenance. That's when I first knew something was up with Tom's money. Erika new too, which is why she went back to work. Not at all surprising.

^ I remember that. It was a tile or something near the pool. It’s all truly fascinating to me, and also a reminder to a) never get caught up in appearances of myself and those around me (keep up with the Joneses), and b) take all those housewives with a huge grain of salt. It’s all BS.

+1. I work in the legal field and know a lot about lawyer compensation, and I was shocked at how much money Tom was supposedly making as a plaintiff's lawyer -- to be able to afford that glam squad and all of EJ's self-funded projects.

Lawyers make good money, but not THAT good.

+1. I work in the legal field and know a lot about lawyer compensation, and I was shocked at how much money Tom was supposedly making as a plaintiff's lawyer -- to be able to afford that glam squad and all of EJ's self-funded projects.
