Not a Gonzaga booster but how could you even have SJC ranked above Gonzaga when SJC has maybe beat Gonzaga once in the past decade.

SJC lost the best goalie in the area last year by a mile and I believe they also graduated a very good FOGO. I see it as the following:

1. Bullis - talented in all positions and have depth. Senior class has been playing together and getting big time minutes for a number of years now.
2. Gonzaga - the Eagles always have depth and are battled tested. WCAC titles runs through Eye Street not Military road
3. G. Prep - very athletic and should have the depth to compete with anyone in the DC area. Coaching is VERY VERY suspect.
4. Landon - Bears probably have the best attackman in the IAC and will have very strong defensive team. Midfield will be the big question mark. Always well coached
5. SJC - super athletic but graduated best attackman in area from 2020 and their top goalie. If a season is played, SJC will be a much better team come June than they are in April.

HM: Don't ever count out Saint Stephens.

Prep, Gonzaga and Bullis are the most talented teams by a mile. Gonzaga is the best WCAC team by 5-7 goals.

I think Bullis is the most talented team on paper in Spring of 2021. One of their best 2023 players transferred out.

Prep is loading up but their coaching staff is average at best. Gonzaga should remain the program to beat in the DC area.

Landon and St Johns will make things interesting in their own leagues.

Salisbury tanked against Bullis. Nice win.

Tanked or choked? Either way, Bullis won.

Was Calvert Hall invited ? CH would beat Bullis by 10

No spring season for HS. Clubs will put together informal leagues so kids can still play.
Anonymous
There will also be unofficial HS leagues run by the clubs but teams will be grouped by school not club.

According to who?

DCE is not well organized club in my honest opinion. (just look at their website)

The only club who has the $$$ to try and organize an informal HS league would be Mad Lax.

Fake news. Prep couldn't beat SJC this year. GZ barely beat SJC with a bunch of Freshmen in 2019 WCAC Title game. Early results in 2020 were showing SJC was class of WCAC. Wins over Deerfield, Gilman, and LB this Summer without the 20s only cement that status. Calvert Hall has fallen off a lot. Unless a bunch of kids are moving in, McDonough will win MIAA in 21.

Next Level has run Fall and Winter (box, I think) leagues for at least a couple of years that are, effectively, informal HS leagues. Have not had a kid participate so can't speak to how well organized it is or whether they are planning on adding something for the Spring.

Is the Landon attack commit to Dartmouth that good?

I think the reference is to Landon’s big lefty who is committed to Michigan.

Landon has two attackman committed.

Current senior headed to Michigan next Fall who has started since he was a freshman and a current junior who is committed to Dartmouth.

The Michigan commit and Gonzaga's attackman committed to UNC are probably the two best attackman in the DC area this Spring.

The Michigan commit can barely move but he can score like crazy. Can overpower kids at HS level.

He moves much better than you think. Everyone knows where he’s going. And still scores at will. Usually with 3 guys hanging on him

Have your eyes examined. Going overboard, but an M1 A-1 Abrams Tank isn't very agile, but it goes where it wants, gets there fast, and you can't stop it. The Michigan recruit is actually fast, like a tank or a freight train, he gets where he wants, gets there fast, and you can't stop him. If he develops a right hand he will be very hard to stop.
