My son just started at Landon in one of the younger grades so I don't (yet) pay attention to HS lacrosse, so maybe a dumb question but where does Landon fit? Aren't they on par with Bullis and G Prep?

Gonzaga and Prep are always the most talented. Period. Anyone who disagrees doesn’t know DC lacrosse.

I think Bullis is probably the strongest team in the IAC this coming spring (thats if they even have a Spring season). They have talent and depth at all positions on the field, in my opinion they have the most talented senior class in the area. Several of their current seniors have been playing together since 9th grade and even in middle school.

After Bullis, I think its really a toss up between GP, Landon, and even Saint Stephens (across the river in Alexandria). GP lost a really solid 2020 senior class last Spring however their 2021 class is equally as strong. Landon didn't graduate a talented senior class last year and their 2021 class, while it doesn't have as much depth as Bullis or GP, has some serious weapons on all sides of the field. Lastly, you can never count out Saint Stephens / Saint Agnes. They tend to get overlooked since they are over the river but they are always extremely well coached and always have some really strong players.

Hopefully this helps and fingers are crossed we have some type of season this Spring.

I am really worried whether we are even going to have a boys’ 2021 lacrosse season. Swarthmore (Centennial Conference) just canceled spring 2021 sports, and with the NESCACs deciding to cancel all winter sports, and saying that the spring sports are TBD, we should brace ourselves for our sons getting screwed out of their second straight season of high schooL lacrosse.

God, I hope I am wrong.

And yet, Bullis just keeps winning.
