Haha. Actually you’ve got your numbers flipped, the rejection rate is 80%.

Fascinating how the retort was posted 6 seconds after the initial statement . . .

Not so fascinating. If it's that popular of a school to apply to, many people are familiar with the stats.

A lot of schools are overrated a full cost. Insane costs in the U.S. compared to the rest of the world. Too many administrators, professors that teach very, very little, etc.

You know, if you are going to bash on a school you know nothing about, getting the name correct us usually the first step.

It’s not bashing if the statement is true. She probably meant all universities in Virginia.

Texas A&M supporters insult the University of Texas by calling it Texas University (t.u.). Perhaps a similar intent.

"She" undoubtedly is a UMD or VT (rival to UVA) college kid having fun. No one makes that mistake. It's like saying "California University" for UCLA.

It's clearly UVA if your definition is "people from outside this area have the most different view of the school."

Yeah. Kids on Tiktok make fun of pretentious ivy leaguers by saying things like Go Nittany Lions! or ooooh Penn State has always been my dream school!! in response to obnoxious Penn tik toks (as an example) so I’m imagining a similar situation. Obviously they know Penn and PSU are different.
