You should do it. You have a family history and need to do so. As I stated earlier, I had my first one 3 days e my mom died and had a polyp. That terrified me. It was removed and was the slow growing kind. If I had ignored the fact that I needed one who knows what could have happened. |
don't go there... |
You need to get screened 10 years before your mother’s diagnosis or if you have symptoms. I got my first screening at age 35 based on the date of my mother’s diagnosis and I go every 5 years. |
Hope you are doing ok. I have breast cancer and it just sucks. This man should have had more time here. Sad. I understand his need for privacy too. |

This year is so hard.

Seriously. Do not tempt the gods. Literally, though, it feels like the universe is taking all of the good things away from us. And leaving us with really awful leftovers. |
That’s it. I’m just gonna ugly cry over here until 2021. |
| This is so sad. What a loss. I hate this year. |
| What a tremendous loss! 😢 |

💔 My heart feels seriously cracked. I’ve been crying off and on since I heard — something I never would have imagined. I’m not a movie-goer. I saw Black Panther twice, then threw in a third just so I could see it in imax. I bought the dvd and circled the expected release date of BP 2 on a calendar with my fingers crossed.
I love that kids are growing up with the image of Chadwick Boseman / Black Panther as a superhero. What I didn’t realize was how much I’ve needed these images too. Wakanda forever! RIP |

| I don’t usually get upset when people I don’t know die, but this one hurts. |
| Go get your colonoscopy people! The rate of colon cancer in young people is increasing. Insurance pays and the pill prep isn’t so bad. It’s totally preventable. |
