| It seems to vary store to store and week to week. My Safeway (SW DC) has tons of dried beans--including sales on some of them (59 cents for a lb of lentils) and tofu and other stuff on this list, but was totally out of dish and dishwasher soap last week and had no coconut milk. |

We eat less pasta in the summer and I still have a few boxes left from when the pasta shelves were almost cleared out. Now there’s a sauce shortage? I don’t think I have any. |

| Refried beans! They were sold out when we visited Rehoboth Beach a few weeks ago, and the Giant here in Burke is completely out of stock (with a sign even stating "Out of Stock"). It's so weird and I can't figure out why? |
