What do people think of Einstein?

If you are in IB Einstein is great. These same kids would be middle of the pack at WJ. But, they stand out at Einstein and it looks better for colleges. Metal detectors and kids brandishing firearms on DL zooms. Sure, every school has its issues. Some more than others.

Yes, you are right.

I would guess that 80%+ of Einstein families have an HHI of less than $250,000. I have 2 there, and of course it is hard to know exactly what people earn, but, I think there are very few at $250,000+

This is an overwhelming positive for many of us, you know.

No, not how it works. Smart kids will do well anywhere. Having gone to that school there is nothing special but uptight parents and kids who think they are rich and pretend to be down to earth.

Einstein has no more issues than the rich schools, which far more make the news in terms of bad things.

In 2018, MCPS found that Baltimore City was the only school district in MD with metal detectors. There are none in MCPS.
