Spouse Slept through Breakfast

Agreed. 1 day a week each is reasonable (and needed?). I'm crazy in love with DH and I give him lots of grace. He gives me grace too. If I'm sleeping deeply, he keeps the kids quiet. We have toddlers and they are HARD. I love them to death but it is so much work for both of us combined.

I'd be concerned, not annoyed.

She is a sahm ..she has plenty of time to enjoy children. Let her sleep.

Next time give a heads up the day before that you will make an elaborate breakfast for 10am tomorrow.

This! Agree. Can’t just wake up and gorge myself to please someone else. Husband sounds entitled to accolades.

Sleep till 10 am, that is a concern

Yes, sounds either lazy or depressed.

Maybe your spouse figured since you were holding down the fort, he or she could take some time to sleep in.

Im a SAHM and sleep until 9/9:30 every morning. If my DH made breakfast I would come...out of respect. Then I’d wash dishes and climb back into bed and drink coffee.
