the internet is bashing trump for saying that that combo is going to make all this go away and we should all look to it as the solution/cure. what doctors on twitter are saying is that it can be a very dangerous combination - i would assume if david is on it, it's because there aren't other good options.

i'm really just in shock that he is in this condition. i've known him professionally - he wrote about me a couple of times, and we emailed sometimesfor various reasons - and he seems like a truly decent, good person. i hope to gd he gets better. i hope we all do.

that's in part because of huge liability risks. That needs to be taken care of here, though even with waivers, no one really knows what courts will do.

this is new york starting CLINICAL TRIALS of the drug combo. As in to see if the drugs are safe and effective. Nobody is "blocking treatment from critically ill patients." Drug trials are approved by the FDA in order to ensure they're done correctly. this is a good thing, not a bad thing.
