I suggest..Vaughan or Leighton for a girl and would go with Wesley (calling him Wes) for a boy or Owen, Austin, Casey?

Vaughan is...awful. Like Vomit.

So is Leighton.

Both sound so unpleasant.

aren’t you a peach? Please share, what’s your child’s name?

NP but agrees with PP, Caroline and Thomas.

That’s what I thought. Basic.

Sure, maybe. But I can tell you that some day when someone is looking at resumes, they're going to go ahead and call Caroline before Everleigh or Leighton.

Caroline will be boring and generic like her name with a boring and generic resume and they'll just assume she'll add nothing to the company and get ignored.

Sure, Tailour's mom. Whatever you have to tell yourself.

You really don't understand how the world works.

Op here: where did I get mad? I haven’t gotten mad once. lol I said give me opinions and I can take it. I’m not going to go cry if you hate my names haha

I actually agree with the PP. Do you see the popular names now a days? Forrest, Apple, etc. Super unique names. By the time your Caroline grows up, her name will be the odd one out.

OP here:

Browsed some names on Pinterest last night and a girl name that I really like now is, Elliana. How do we feel about that? Ellie for short?

We also really like Blakely but I’m on the fence.

If you like L, why not use Liliana? That is really pretty and she can be Lili for short if she wants.

I can't stand Blakely. That's another one of those last-name-as-first-name deals, or like you're trying to be a "unique" version of Blake.

If you use Eliana, please spell it properly. The extra L to be creative is kind of silly.

Cameron, Ruby, Scarlet

No, the popular names now are Ava, Charlotte, and Grace. (The only Apple was Gwyneth's kid and Apple is a teen and Gwynnie has been consciously uncoupled for a long time)

Helena would let OP use Laney as a nickname.

Girls:
*Leighton
*Lennon
*Everly (although may be becoming too popular for me)
*Lainey

Boys:
*Wesley
*Easton
*Weston
*Colton

Lainey or Wesley. The others are very red neck. Who in their right mind would name a little girl Lennon?

OP- think of how these names would read on a resume.

Op here- My cousin is Lily so that’s out. I’ve also never heard blakely as a last name ever but maybe that’s me. Oh well! We have 5 months to figure this out. Thanks!
