Lol thanks guys. Leighton is honestly my top girl name. I heard it a few months ago and absolutely loved it. We were considering “Layne” as a name but I feel that’s very unisex which isn’t what I’m going for.

Husband is 100% wanting Easton for a boy and I love Wesley (Wes) for short but apparently he knows a Wesley from school and he hated him so..

The only Leighton I know is a boy. So I think it’s unisex.

There is the actress from gossip girl. Leighton Meester?

Leigh is cute. Not Leighton. Remember your kid is a human and has to live with this name! Name your cat/dog Leighton! Easton isn't my cup of tea and I think Wesley is better.

Girls:
*Leighton
*Lennon
*Everly (although may be becoming too popular for me)
*Lainey

Boys:
*Wesley
*Easton
*Weston
*Colton

Every and Everest are way too popular right now.

From your girl’s list I like Leighton the best. Boys: Wesley.

If your open to suggestions: Hart for a girl and Bowen (no Bowie) for a boy.

All strike me as strivery wanna-be WASP names. But they are trendy, not preppy.

She’s actually the product of a drug addicted teen mom.

Leighton Meester’s parents were in federal prison when she was born. That’s the type of people who name their kid Leighton.

Something that isn’t straight out of a Lockup documentary.

Lainey and Wesley are okay.

If she’s overweight the kids at school will
Call her “weighsaton” or “eight ton.”
