No way. He needs a young VP to balance out his age.

Young and preferably not white.

Warren is young in the current match up (she’s younger than trump or pence). And she’s brilliant.

But I agree that not white if the choice is male.

She is objectively not young. I agree that she is youthful, and I admire the hll out of her, but she is not young. Biden really needs someone who isn't in their 70s, in my opinion (which is worth as much as it costs to post on this website, granted).

I think Klobuchar would be a good choice, despite not being non-white. I've seen Tammy Duckworth's name floated as an interesting VP choice. Harris seems to be the first name that everyone gives as his obvious pick (and she's the first one I'd name, too).

Pence is ten years younger than Warren.

He needs to pick someone who is Barack's age when he first run.

Andrew Yang will be a surprise and solid pick.

He will pick Booker or Harris

Harris torpedoed any chance with Biden when she attacked him on busing. That attack was strong, personal, and sustained though at least two debates. She’d have egg all over her face if she came out now praising Biden as a running mate. The GOP would run circles around her hypocrisy as well.

I see Biden choosing whatever candidate gives him a viable shot of winning back WI, MI, and PA. Those are the only three states that really matter in 2020.

Possibly, even though he’ll get flack for an all-white ticket.

Anonymous wrote:I don’t think he would pick Warren - she’s also pretty old and leaves the party with the same problem they had when Biden declined to run in 2016 - no heir apparent. If Biden was elected, served one term and then didn’t run for re-election, his VP would be the next logical choice and Warren would be 75 in 2024. If he served 2 terms just add another 4 years onto that, yikes.

He needs someone younger, but also someone who can pull in progressives. Maybe Beto?

Progress to what? Mayor Pete has a small college town job in Indiana. Mayor Mike handled NYC for 3 terms including the aftermath of 9 11. Mayor Corey did a fine job for Newark NJ - a far more complex job than Mayor of South Bend Indiana. Beto is a flit - pandering to undocumented. Klobuchar said the key comments on Bernie and his tuition garbage- do we need more sports marketing majors or nurses, doctors, and plumbers?

Biden VP- Booker, Klobuchar, Delaney. Bloomberg if he'd do it. Cliburn from SC? I like Cliburn from SC - his endorsement meant something and Kaine endorsed Biden - Kaine was a terrible gov and does nothing for VA.

It hope it's Amy. It has to be a woman or a POC, not too old.

I love Tammy Duckworth. Love love love.

If Biden picks a very youthful running mate, he will look even older in comparison. That’s not good for him. I still would like to see Warren.

I think that Pete will be the VP for either Bernie or Biden. He will serve the same purpose - someone rational, moderate, and appealing waiting as backup. If Bernie gets the nod, they will need some kind of Hail Mary to reach the middle.

Is a Biden/Sanders ticket possible?
