A few of your best democratic friends in California probably have some comments for you.

I mean maybe but weren’t you guys just bragging that Bernie was going to sweep SC?

No way. He needs a young VP to balance out his age.

Eh, she's too similar to him on the political spectrum. He needs someone further to the left to help bring in progressives.

Plus Klobuchar is most popular with people over 65. That's the last demographic Joe needs help with...

Nope, he needs someone to bring in the disaffected republicans.

He can do that just fine on his own.

He needs someone younger who can pull in younger voters, ideally from the Midwest or a western swing state. I could see him choosing Harris but the California thing doesn’t help much. Given Biden’s strength with African-Americans, he probably could get away with a white running mate. Buttigieg might be a good choice.

The fact that Bernie is going to trounce Biden in CA, or have you not noticed that yet?

"Get away with" a white running mate?? Do you even realize how racist you sound?

(Of course not....)

Young and preferably not white.

But she'd help deliver the midwest. I think she'd be a fine choice. Also it would be a lot of fun seeing her tear Mike Pence apart.

I hope so but he may choose someone younger like Kamala or Amy.

Warren is young in the current match up (she’s younger than trump or pence). And she’s brilliant.

But I agree that not white if the choice is male.
