| He needs someone younger who can pull in younger voters, ideally from the Midwest or a western swing state. I could see him choosing Harris but the California thing doesn’t help much. Given Biden’s strength with African-Americans, he probably could get away with a white running mate. Buttigieg might be a good choice. |

Warren is young in the current match up (she’s younger than trump or pence). And she’s brilliant. But I agree that not white if the choice is male. |
