I AM FED UP WITH THE EARLY SUNSETS. SICK OF IT. EXHAUSTED & TIRED. I AM OVER IT.

Bring on the longer days I say.

NP.

You are tiresome. I’m up early. But during that time I’m getting teens to their bus stop and then driving to work. I cannot get up any earlier to take advantage of daylight. With the time change I will be able to enjoy the daylight after work. My teens can go to practice and come outside and see some daylight. It makes a difference.

I'm up early too. I take advantage of the earlier daylight in the mornings by getting up in daylight instead of in the dark. I enjoy the daylight in the morning by getting up in it. My kids do too. As you say, it makes a difference.

Okay lady, I’ll call work and school tomorrow letting them know we are late because we are enjoying the daylight.

I hate the endless long days.

Put newspapers over all of your windows and stay inside after 7 PM.
PROBLEM SOLVED.

Unfortunately those who want longer daylight during the winter months do not have a similar option.

So buy a lamp.

Changing the clock on an arbitrary date is asinine. The length of the day doesn’t change. Get your ass out of bed earlier.

I hate people like you. I want daylight at the end of my work day, what the eff good does it do me earlier in the day when I'm stuck in the cube? You vampires need to learn how to adjust.

Some of the people on here are just flat out miserable human brings.

Everyone in my neighborhood enjoys the longer daylight hours from the elderly going for walks to the children riding their bicycles.

It is a healthier situation for all ages.

9 PM sunsets > 5 PM sunsets

I can’t wait to take my kids to the playground or on a walk before sunset. Currently when we get home at. 5:30 it’s dark (getting better though). I can’t imagine how healthier everyone would be if they could go out after work. Some nights my kids beg for the playground but instead just tear us my house. I think the time change is the reason everyone gains weight in the winter

Playing video games indoors on a gigantic flat screen television is fun but it is not nearly as fun as being outdoors on a bicycle enjoying the daylight with your friends.

You know there is no rule that you can’t go out in the dark! You can go for a walk in the dark. Take flashlights. Play flashlight tag. The problem isn’t the lack of light it is that you lack imagination and are soft.

The only advantage is that we avoid fights about leaving the playground. Can’t tear my 4yo away otherwise.

Only 10 more days in just 3 hours.

Well you can sit around complaining about something that cannot be changed or put on your coat and a scarf and find ways to adapt. Your choice but all the whining in the world won’t change the tilt of the earth. You might as well complain about love or death or the growing of grass.

No need. 11 days and I’ll be fine, same as the original discussion post.

I will be glad not to almost get hit by a car in the crosswalk every night coming home from the bus. I swear it starts every year right after the clocks turn back and lasts until DST. And i even bought a light colored coat to make myself more obvious. Im considering one of those flashing light vests.

I’m sure you’ll be back in the fall.
